Using Bluetooth on your Nokia

Bluetooth is a technology which allows you to connect your device to another Bluetooth device using radio waves. You can then use the connection to transfer data without wires.

To open up a Bluetooth connection:

Select Menu
Select Settings
Select Connectivity
Select Bluetooth
Select My phone's name, then enter a name
Select if you want to be visible to all searching devices

To avoid malicious software it is safer to select Temp.visible or Hidden

To activate Bluetooth connectivity:

Select Bluetooth
Select On

To connect to an audio accessory:

Select Conn. to audio acc. and connect when the accessory is found

To pair with any device in range:

Select Paired devices
Select Add new device
Scroll to the device you want to connect to, and select Add
Enter a passcode on your device (can be up to 16 characters)
Allow the connection on the device you are pairing with
